UKRAINE: 1949 Revenue Stamps; for the Ukrainian Council (displaced persons in Germany), 100m & 300m high values, two perfed stamps, Mint NH (some yellowing of gum), very fresh, these were mostly used in Munich on official documents for the war displaced trying to reach more stable conditions. A very important pairing and certainly relevant today. Some people have called these "phantom posts" but they are revenue stamps issued for a real need. Rare. Fine-VFThe 300m is the scarcest denomination of the set.
