Item Description

Now for sale, this the British Colonial Australian state fiscal stamp from Victoria. The stamp is cancelled with a manuscript dating of 19 June 1883 and a last name. Based on Scott footnotes, this is a fiscal cancellation and valued accordingly. These stamps were permitted for regular postal usage from Jan. 1 to April 23, 1884. Subsequent fiscal issues were inscribed "Stamp Duty." Please review the images for the clarity of the color, centering, perforations, and gum condition.
