The irony being that the portrait is of none other than Samuel P. Chase. It is not uncommon for stamps of this jumbo size to have one or two natural edges given they were produced in something akin to booklet panes. The Scott number was verified. Please review the the images for clarity, color, condition, and centering.Scott Number: #R729
