Item Description

Interesting New York City commercial cover to Troy, N.Y,, featuring a pair of claret 1-cent postage due stamps alongside the circular New York DUE "2" CENTS with a oval killer cancelation with "44" at the center of the oval, which adorns the pre-stamped envelope. The New York City CDS is dated MAY 17 530 PM 89 and a Troy, N.Y., 12 PM May 17 1889 receiving postmark.

The stamps are mostly sound with minor inclusion along side of the far left stamp, and a tear on the flap as well as a few pencil notations. Please study the images for clarity, color, condition, cancel, and centering.
