Item Description

This is the Polish occupation set of horizontal pairs issued following Germany's September 1939 Blitzkrieg into Poland. The stamps are those of 1934 Germany overprinted in black for use in Poland under German occupation at the outset of World War II. The stamps, the complete set, are all original never hinged gum with the German swastika watermark. This is a stamp set with nice margins, beautifully crisp colors, and clear overprints. Please study the images for clarity and centering.
