The pamphlet, North German Alsace-Lorraine Occupation Issues, written by German state philatelic expert Otto E. Stiedl and supplemented with photography by Fritz Billig is a must have for the German states' collector. The 1935 copyrighted pamphlet is a quality production of 12 pages of philatelic references and examples (black and white glossy images) "36 enlargements with 300 distinguishing features of the original, reprints, and corrections." The one possible drawback is that the publication is written in German.
