Item Description

This is a huge bulk lot of thousands of off-paper U.S. and a relatively few foreign issues now at auction. The lot is primarily a U.S. boxed lot with postally used singles, a pane or two, pairs, larger multiples, souvenir sheets, and all with contemporary cancellations.  This lot is not like most in that the only requirement to enter the lot was for a stamp to be without damage.  As the U.S. Postal Service large flat rate box was filling (the images are a weak attempt to capture the process), there were used panes of the Byrd souvenir sheet, plate numbered blocks, and probably a lot that just squeaked by in the effort to fill the box.

Obviously there will be a lot of duplication.  The cancellations are contemporary for the issue date. The box was neatly packed full to prevent shifting to the extent possible. The flash blocked much of the digital weight of 9.4 pounds.  Please study the images for clarity, color, and condition.
