The pamphlet, Modena (Italian state), written by philatelic expert Fritz Billig and supplemented with his photography is a must have for the early Italian state stamp collector. The 1934 copyrighted pamphlet is a quality production of 18 pages of philatelic references and examples (black and white glossy images) 54 illustrations/photographs with distinguishing features of the original and fake stamps. The one possible drawback is that the publication is written in German.
