Item Description

This is the late 19th Century plate imprint strip of three 2-cent Washington small banknote issues for sale. The upper and lower stamps are never hinged original gum and the center stamp is lightly hinged, and all three have Post Office fresh color. This strip is considered an Imprint IV for Plate #187, which was the 30th of the 207 plates to be used for production of these stamps. Scott number verified through Durland Plate Number Catalogue. Please study the image for clarity, color, condition, and centering.
