Item Description

This is the late 19th Century plate imprint strip of three 2-cent Washington small banknote issues for sale. The upper stamp is lightly hinged, while the other stamps are never hinged. All three are full original gum . The three stamps are all Post Office fresh in color. This strip is considered an Imprint IV for Plate #181, which was the 25th of the 207 plates to be used for production of these stamps. Scott number verified through Durland Plate Number Catalogue. Please study the image for clarity, color, condition, and centering.
