Item Description

This is the 1852 imperforate 1-cent Franklin Type IV issue which is for sale. Arguably well centered (arguably because PSE disagrees and does not seem to take into account how tightly these issues appeared in production) for the issue, this example bares a very crisp partial Philadelphia CDS blue cork cancellation strike. A nice stamp -- please study the images for clarity, color, cancellation, and centering.
