Item Description
This is a choice postally used, lightly cancelled 1919 special delivery cover featuring the 1916 Perf 10 Scott #E10. This bit of California postal history began the journey in San Berdardino Oct. 3, 1919, and ended up in Santa Barbara, California, on Oct. 4, based on the receiving mark on the reverse of the cover. The stamp is very fresh and clean despite the killer oval near obliteration of the bicycle post rider. Judging by the margins, this is a superb example of the stamp!
