Item Description

This is a May 1895 upper margin, horizontal strip of three 2c Washington carmine triangles for sale. The stamp strip is fresh and the stamps are full original never hinged gum -- the selvage however is hinged toward the upper edge of the selvage. Please study the images for clarity, color, condition, and centering.

Issue Date: May 1895

Faults/Flaws: The far left stamp has disturbed gum and there is some perf separation between the plate single and center stamp at the upper edge of the selvage. In addition, there is an incorrect Scott number which was erased above the left stamp.
