Item Description

This is the 1-cent blue Franklin-design stamp now for sale. The previous owner must have believed the stamp was mint no gum, but with a scissor-trimmed right margin as though it was cut from a sheet. While it is no doubt an attractive, crisp stamp, higher scan magnification seems to point to this having a very light manuscript cancellation which was later "washed." Either could be correct. Please review the images for clarity, condition, and centering -- then decide for yourself.
