The newest Duck Stamp is a beauty!! The 2020 'Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp' (it's a lot easier to just say 'Duck Stamp') features a gorgeous painting of a Wood Duck placidly swimming past a Wood Duck decoy!That motif was carried over to the cachet on this RW86 FDC -- it features a Wood Duck in the process of carving his own likeness as a decoy, with a previous handpainted example in the background.
Two copies of the 1991 29¢ Wood Duck definitive pay the postage on this cover, and all three stamps are tied by the official First Day of Issue cancel from Springfield, MO that shows a Wood Duck in flight.
The reverse of the cover is marked as being cover #5 of only 10 made.
