Item Description
When I first saw Disney's 'The Jungle Book' in 1967, I pretty much decided right then and there that I wanted to work in Animation. Fast forward 51 years to 2008 . . . and I WAS! (I retired from the Disney Studios in 2018.) This self-indulgent cachet pictures both my younger and then-present selves and is a tribute to the film that started me on my career journey!This cover also bears a single of the Bhutan Jungle Book issue of 1982 (Scott #344) that also shows Mowgli and Baloo, as does the US stamp! A nice clear strike of the Digital Color Postmark touches both stamps.
On the reverse, the image of the Bhutan Souvenir Sheet that accompanied the stamp on the front can be seen behind the Bennett CACHETOONS logo!
