Item Description
This one-cent black/buff Thomas Jefferson Postal Card issue of 1897, Scott UX14, was mailed from Detroit, Michigan to Easton, Pennsylvania in 1898 and was cancelled by a Detroit machine cancellation.Easton machine cancellation on the front as an arrival marking.
Verso has a purple handstamp for 'W. C. Curtiss, Dealer in Hardware, Stoves, Etc.,' with hand-written content inquiring about the price of bolt cutters.
The card in the scan is the one you will receive. Top left corner crease (see scans). Light lines in images are SCANNER ARTIFACT!
