Reductive cut cachet FDC by cachet artist Dave Curtis for the 84c International Polar Year Aurora Borealis stamp issued Feb. 21, 2007, in Fairbanks, AK. USPS rubber four bar FDoI cancel. Signed and numbered on face (34/60). Reductive cutting is an old and time intensive technique for transferring color from a single block of linoleum to various media. Dave and his cachet artist wife Sabrina Curtis have perfected the technique for FDC cachet art.
