- cover reaches "port said traffic on 25 june, 1929"; i believe that the ship passed through suez canal and the letter was given to the pilot in order he mails to germany. As a retired mar.Ch. Eng i passed the suez canal late 1990's and i mailed a letter to my wife............Never arrived in canada.

- stamp has perffins - i can not distinguish the perfins

- i belived he was involved in military diplomacy prior to 2nd w.W.

- this person traveled extensively during 1928 - 1930: asia, africa, etc.
