 Confederate States #5 Rose Strip of 4 documented with interesting correspondence pertaining to a letter that was with the stamps noting their origin. This could be the largest known multiple, no gum 3-4 margin, 1 of a kind. The stamps were found in a family letter that the family would not relinquish (as is often the case). The strip was folded in the original letter for mailing purposes. Fortunately it was only folded between the margins and not the stamps. This is a rare and valuable exhibit item that has been never displayed at an exhibition.
