Item Description

A real specialty postal item, a cachet cover for the USS Cook DE 1083. For a bit of fun here is a link I found on Google about the now decommissioned ship. You'll have to copy and paste the link, they do not do live links in this description. Condition is fair, the envelope is addressed in ink, which I covered with paper for privacy here. As shown in second photo the glue on the back closing has left a brown stain. There is a blank card in the envelope also very light stained. The cachet is clear and the cancel goes through a two cent Frank Lloyd Wright stamp, and hits the edge of a Christmas six cent stamp. This will ship by itself in a single first class envelope, however I do have many items listed in my store and can combine shipping costs for multiple items.
