CEYLON 1859 4d DULL ROSE, IMPERFORATE, Brandon Certificate, SG 4, SCOTT 4, VFU, CAT £4,500($6,210).....SCOTT CAT $4,500

Condition note:- certificate mentions, a little harshly, a horizontal crease which in normal conditions is undetectable and is better described as a faint transit wrinkle and i feel does not detract from the quality of this very rare stamp.

Is otherwise fine to very fine used with excellent color, 4 very clear definitive margins with no repairs and no thins, pencil owner/dealer note on an otherwise clean reverse side.

Watermark large star and lower watermark frame line.

Rare and superb 1859 4d dull rose imperforate issue in fine to very fine used condition. With a 2018 brandon certificate.

Condition notes for mint stamps
UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
