Item Description

This stamp is in unused condition and without gum. It had foxing on the gum and I soaked the stamp to remove the gum and those stains. A few perforation teeth still have faded stains, but no stains show on the face of the stamp. The lower left-hand corner is creased.

Virtually all of the pre-1950 stamps I am selling were removed from 1950-era collections I purchased in the 1980s. Some stamps were in mounts on pages, but most were mounted with hinges. I carefully removed the stamps from the old pages and placed them in high quality Leuchturm stock pages or Lindner T-blank album pages. I have not used hinges or mounts on these stamps.
