CANAL ZONE: Interesting grouping, including the rare ppc (hotel in Panama City Panama), franked by 3c Early Railroading Issue, (#147), tied by 1955 with adjoining Swedish -American Line Kungsholm World Cruise label well tied by the Balboa machine cancel, apparently the sender stayed in the hotel where he picked up the card and then boarded the "Kungsholm" which is mentioned in the message, sender states the voyage was their last round-the-world voyage, very scarce label to see tied, some stray ink on face, lot also includes a "last day of the Canal Zone" cover with stamp and appropriate slogan cancel cacheted, addr to a LADY in an ARMY Army Post Office location, APO Fla, finally three EMPTY booklet covers, all for airmail stamps, interesting Canal Zone lot, Fine -VF
