Item Description

Canada, Scott #760a, used (o) pair, 1978, Commemorating the 11th Commonwealth Games held at Edmonton, August 1978, stamp sheet printed check-board style, in this pair, the first stamp (Scott #760) shows a Pair of Runners while the second stamp (Scott #759) shows the Stadium for the Games, 14 cents each, perforated: 11½, lithography printed, no watermark, gray and yellow, Scott 2019 catalog value: 50¢. Nicely centered, faint, small, half circle, black-inked, cancellation at the lower center of the pair and well away from the main images, with each stamp sharing a quarter corner cancel, good perforations, centering and offset cancellation warrants a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch' offer. The stamp you see will be the one you receive.
