Item Description

A well centered and very fine NH example of the 3C CARMINE WINNIPEG TAGGED QUEEN ELIZABETH II STAMP FROM THE 1954-63 WILDING ISSUE, IN A PLATE 2 UPPER RIGHT (UR) BLOCK OF 4.  Printed on horizontal wove paper showing ribbing only on the back and giving a dull fluorescent greyish reaction under ultraviolet light (UV). The tagging is moderately applied, being clearly visible to the naked eye.  Shiny, yellowish cream gum.  2015 Unitrade values a VF-75 NH block at $10.50. The block offered here grades 80 as follows:
