Canada 1897 $4 Purple (SG Violet) Jubilee - SMALL REPAIR - Scott 64 SG 139 MLH Cat $1,300............SG Cat. £1,400($1,750)

Condition Note:- This item has a small lower right corner repair reinforced with a tiny piece of hinge. See Hi Res scan of reverse.

Very fresh with excellent color, very well centered with light evidence of hinging on otherwise full original gum.

Very nice and scarce 1897 $4 Purple Jubilee issue, in fine repaired mint condition. Not perfect but presents extreemly well.

Condition Notes for Mint Stamps
UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
