Used - SOTN cancel NO 30 85 as per scans Berbice - One of the former founding regions of British Guiana - BERBICE is a region along the Berbice River, Between 1627 and 1815 a colony of the Dutch Republic. After having been ceded to the Great Britain in the latter year, it was merged with Essequibo and Demera to form the colony of British Guiana in 1831.
