BRAZIL: METER STAMPS; FIVE incl Better, 1929-1993, first is a quality strike of B1b with Globe and Stars, on Blue cover, 1929 usage from METER No. 2! Addressed Chicago IL, USA, 300 Reis rate, then an example (third scan) of C3a, early low meter #1023, Euro size cover, reduced at top, bit soiled, 1934 usage, followed by a post-war usage of the POST OFFICE meter stamp (Type #PO2, Meter #1284) on small cover to US, then a Post Card franked a C# type, meter number is blurred (C3e???), PROPER RATE, American reply card to Cleveland, requesting a trade magazine The Stabilizer, notes Portuguese at bottom (language request?), finally a more modern Voice of America usage for one of their writing contests (opened and marked with check and X), usually these are found sealed, so perhaps this was a winner!
