One of the most popular cachet makers currently producing first-day covers is artist Kendal Bevil of Port Neches, Texas. He has been producing cachets for 25 years. His first Bevil Quality Cachet was created for the Claire Chennault issue of 1990 (Scott 2187), although he did some work for Pugh Cachets before that.

Bevil credits Julian Pugh with introducing him to FDC cachets, first helping him with the 1989 Shuttle Docking at Space Station hologram envelope (Scott U617). He was not a collector of stamps or covers before that.

He does not produce cachets for every United States issue. Only those he feels are appealing enough.
Chances are, he will skip issues that contain a large number of designs.

This item came from a lot comprised of 19th & 20th century covers, US & Foreign. Condition of these were generally better than usual! Still, some of the covers will have faults typical of items that went through the mail during that time. Some will have less wear, and some will have more, so please, view my high quality scans carefully, and form your own opinion of condition.
In many cases, both sides are scanned so you can hopefully see any/all faults. They should be readily apparent. Please look carefully for any edge wear, tears, missing pieces, corners dents etc.
