Item Description
Belgium, Scott #1166c (OBP/COB #3165)(Michel #3213), used (o), 2003, To Honor the Red Cross; stamp shows a nurse aiding an accident victim while a young boy is panicking illustrated in ‘cartoon style’ by Studio Max; stamp is part of a fifteen stamp panel, with three rows of five stamps, with each of the five stamps carrying an identical image, the top and bottom rows can have a ‘Red Cross’ white tag attached; stamps have a borderless design feature that adjoins the top and bottom pairs of stamps in a continuous scene, this stamp is one of the five from the bottom row and lacks the possible Red Cross white attached tag; (41+9) cents, photogravure printed, fluorescent paper paper, perforated: 11½, multicolored, Scott 2025 catalog value: $1.25; nicely centered (superb), half circular, black-inked, single rimmed, socked-on-the-nose border cancel along the right side up from the middle and well clear of the main image, sound back, good perforations; centering and image clear cancel warrants a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch' offer. The stamp you see will be the stamp you receive. Please review my terms of sale. If you are not ordering from the United States, there is a $US1.65 additional postage expense that needs to be added to the price of the stamp. If you are ordering from the United States, there is only a $US0.73 added postage expense. Also, if you make additional purchases from my offerings, they can all go in one mailing at no extra shipping expense for the added purchases. I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail. Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery. I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used.
By way of reference, I am an American Philatelic Society member (195176) and an American Stamp Dealers Association (ASDA) member. Thank you for looking, and I hope this is the perfect stamp to fill that gap in your collection.
