Shanghai Iltis Memorial overprinted for use in Peking. From sailor aboard the SMS Maria Theresia with the Austrian Imperial Navy East Asia Station during the Boxer Rebellion, which watched over the Empire's interests in China. Sent via her sister ship, with straightline SMS Kaiserin und Koeningen Maria Theresia cancel as well as round ship's cachet. Slightly worn, but very scarce and in good, genuinely used condition. Scarce, sent to back to Vienna, with receiver.
