A Selection of the Engraved Stamps of the Commonwealth of Australia (1999), by Richard BreckonThe Gray bookThis is a gem of Australia Philately, issued in a Limited Edition for “Australia 99” by Australia Post to introduce the first collection of engraved (intaglio) stamp proofs printed from their original steel dies. A selection of the engraved stamps of the Commonwealth of Australia featured 28 proofs printed in black and housed in archival mounts, printed from dies by Avon Graphics in Melbourne.The book comes with slip cover, and in this case there is a small fault in the corner of the cover, as could be observed from the photo. Inside the book, to protect the stamps, there are tissue papers (similar to the interleaves of album stamp pages).
