Item Description

This item is a gutter strip of ten (10) stamps issued by Australia Post in 1998 for use in the Christmas Island territory—although Christmas Island stamps are valid throughout Australia and Australian stamps are valid on Christmas Island.    These stamps were issued to mark the “Year of the Tiger” in the East Asian Zodiac.   

The gutter strip from this issue has all twelve animals from the Zodiac reproduced on the selvage, with the main animal (the tiger) in solid foil but with all the other animals in outline. 

Scott lists these stamps as Christmas Island 410-411, with a se-tenant pair listed as 411a (CV $2.75 for the pair.)  Five pairs have a CV of $13.75.

Return Policy:

14 day, money back guarantee, provided the item(s) are sent back in original condition. The 14-day period is defined as follows:

US Bidders: 14 days from the 3rd day after the item is sent.

International: 14 days from the 7th day after the item is sent.
