The 120 AMD donation value will be directed to the preservation of the historical and cultural monuments of Armenia. The postage stamp with the nominal value of 230 AMD depicts a part of the Church of Saint Peter and Paul of Aghjots Monastery (XIII c. A.D.) located in Khosrov State Reserve in Ararat Region. The Church was one of the exceptional monumental examples of the Armenian architecture. The particular values are two elaborated, human size sculptures of the Saints Peter and Paul. The postage stamp with the nominal value of 290 AMD depicts Gandzasar Monastery (XIII c. A.D.) located in Vank village of Artsakh. The dominant structure of the complex, Church of the Saint John the Baptist, was built by the Prince Hasan-Jalal in 1216-1238 and consecrated in 1240. The postage stamp with the nominal value of 330 AMD depicts Amaras (IV c. A.D.) located in Machkalashen village of Artsakh. Amaras Monastery is one of the most well-known cultural-religious sites in Middle Ages, which was founded by Saint Gregory the Illuminator. On the eastern side of the church right under the Altar is the Chapel, which is the tomb of St. Gregoris, who was martyred for the spread of Christianity in 338.
