Item Description
This FDC from 1986 bears a PRECURSOR/FORERUNNER cachet from about a year and a half before Bennett Cachetoons started up. These cachets were done for my dad's middle school stamp club - they were photocopied in black and white and the kids would color them, cut them out, attach them to an envelope, and my dad would send them in to be serviced!This particular cover was photocopied on green paper and handcolored by the cachetmaker. It is 'of the period' and has been at the back of a box for 32 years!
This is probably one of the more friendly-looking Razorbacks you'd be likely to encounter down in 'The Natural State' . . or even at a University of Arkansas football game!
