Paying for Your Purchases:

If you are buying several items over a period of a few days and are paying with paypal, do not make payment right away each time you order more items. Making several small payments, instead of waiting to make a single larger payment, means more of your payments go to paypal fees -- both buyer and seller get less for their money.

I am using the combined shipping discount to charge no additional shipping cost after the first item; and i and giving free shipping if you buy a large number of items or if the total value of the items is over $20. These will be reflected in the invoice you get when you place your order.

I also give discounts off the total cost if you make very large purchases; the discounts will be in the form of a refund of a portion of what you paid.

Scans are provided for most items with catalog values of $10 or more. Because of the time and effort required to make scans, most items with catalog values between $1 and $10 are listed without scans. If you buy any of these items that do not have scans, you can return them for a full refund if you are not happy with the condition of the item.

And while i have thousands of stamps with catalog values under $1, i rarely list them because of the effort required.

Currently, nearly all quoted catalog values are 2015 scott. I generally won’t go back and update existing listings when i get a new set of catalogs.

A listing will always say if any quoted catalog values are from other catalogs.

The preferred payment method is with paypal; it is fast and easy, and it allows transactions to be completed more quickly.

You can also pay with cash or personal check, if you are comfortable sending money through the mail. Of course, this means your payment does not reach me as quickly as with paypal, so it will take longer for you to receive your lots.

Any lot consisting of a single stamp or a small group of stamps can be returned for a full refund if you feel they are not as described in the listing, or if the listing did not include a scan and you are not happy with what you got. Accumulations and other large lots can only be returned under extreme circumstances -- as, for example, if i send you the wrong lot.

Unless other arrangements are made between buyer and seller, all lots are shipped by regular first class mail, without tracking, and without protection against loss.

I am not responsible for lost shipments sent by regular first class mail

My invoices always show the cost of shipping by regular first class mail. If you want your shipment protected against loss, you must request and pay for the special handling.

I have made thousands of shipments of my Hip lots since 1998 with only a handful of complaints from customers about not receiving their lots; and it is very rare for this to happen for shipments within the united states.

Overseas customers are responsible for any customs fees that might be incurred on shipments to their countries. Note that small lots will be shipped in regular letter-size envelopes and will most likely not have to go through customs.
