This unmailed, unaddressed postcard titled 'Amerigo Vespucci (Italy) Training Ship from Original Painting by Frank P. Zaso' is franked by a one-cent Inkwell & Quill issue from the 1975 Americana Series (Scott 1581) and a 13-cent Captain James Cook issue of 1978, Scott 1732. Both stamps are tied to the postcard by a 1986 Liberty Island, New York Centennial Celebration pictorial postmark that depicts the Statue of Liberty.
