Item Description
This Active Service Army Privilege Envelope was franked with a 2-1/2d KGVI issue tied by a Field Post Office double circle date stamp. The cover was mailed to Exmouth, Devon England in 1944. A purple 'Passed by Censor' Shield handstamp also appears on the front.Opened by lifting, the backflap is present and has a diagonal tear. Some wrinkling at top of envelope which seems to be typical of these covers for some reason. There are no contents or backstamps.
