Item Description
Page 14 of a hand-made album.Two complete sets... one Mint and one Used... mounted onto hand-made album pages. I thought it was unique enough to offer it just as I received it. I'm sure the collector was quite proud of his accomplishment, with each page of his collection uniquely designed, housing many very nice stamps. (He was quite imaginative, as you have seen over the last 3 or 4 weeks. If you appreciate his originality, you might consider keeping this lot intact and accumulate the rest of the lots. They would make a dynamite stamp-show exhibit of what collections looked like in the early 1900's.)
Please read the title page that came with this collection. It is NOT included with this lot, but I will give it to the person who buys the most lots from this collection to help authenticate the age of the collection.
Since I have not removed the stamps, I have no idea if there are any hidden flaws, but I didn't see any on the face. I didn't want to chance damaging the stamps putting them back into their mounts.
I did, however, remove the key to the set, the 893, and it is Original Gum, Never Hinged. I would guess them all to be Never Hinged, but that is only a guess, not a guarantee.
