Post Office ANNOUNCEMENT Card: 5c Poland; Overrun Countries Issue, (stamp would be Scott #909), sent by permit and canceled Washington D.C. Jun 10 1943, addr Kokomo IN, couple of stray marks, but very clean for this time period, this was the second card updating the information with the fact that this stamp had dual FDs (Chicago & Washington D.C.), scarce, VF.These announcement cards were used from 1937-1947. They are quite collectible today, despite not having any stamps.
