CHINESE RESISTANCE AGAINST JAPANESE AGGRESSION Issue: 5c Blue, w/ 1c & 2c Famous Americans Issue (both authors), (Scott #859-60 & 906), all tied to cover by Angus Minn June 3 1944 four bar postmark, addr Amphibious Training Base Coronado / San Diego 55 California, to an ensign, who was no doubt training for dangerous duty in the Pacific, cover sent during the brief year and a half period when the air rate was eight cents, usages of #906 to pay this rate are RARE, airmail envelope, sender was Oscar Olson, pencil manuscript on reverse to Save Cover, portion of US Navy machine cancel on reverse, utterly pristine for a commercial usage, pleasing Sun-Yat-Sen cover, VF-EF, just waiting for an exhibit!
