#579 vf mnh og-2¢ washington-coil waste issue great margins-l@@k! Vf mnh og scott #579 2-cent george washington perf 11 x 10 coil waste printing issue. Coil waste stamps were created from the end printings of rotary press coil stamps and then instead of cutting them into rolls for coils they were perforated on all sides and issued in sheet form. These are notoriously poorly centered so this is a nice example of a #579. Very fresh color for this 2 center also. For the collector who wants nothing but the best in their collection.
