Cover Club (CCC) Hall of Fame Cachet. The CCC is Chapter 85
of the American First Day Cover Society (AFDCS). SOLD OUT - LAST ONE AVAILABLE. This
cachet honors Cliff Gilmond and reproduces his cachet for the 4c
Lincoln Sesquicentennial (Scott 1116). The tie-in with
Connecticut lies in the fact that Lincoln gave four speeches in
Connecticut during the 1860 Presidential Campaign. Complete with
filler card containing a biography of Clifford Gilmond. It is
canceled on the First Day of Issue with the Hartford, CT
double-ring "registry" cancellation on June 14, 2008.
