#36 VF USED-12¢ WASHINGTON-SERIES OF 1857-61 Scott #36 VF 12-cent black Washington perf 15 from the 1st series of perforated stamps issued by the post office in 1857. As the scan shows this is a dandy of a stamp with a neat pen cancel. A nice stamp for this early classic. For the collector who wants nothing but the best in their collection. The scans show it all. I am an APS Dealer-member 105953-D in business since 1973 specializing in Pre-1945 US Stamps. Please note the change in my username and store name to REMstamps from innisfree55. Nothing but the name has changed. Same owner and inventory.
