Since the 1950s, National and International Stamp Shows have created Souvenir Cards to commemorate the show and highlight printing designs. These are listed in the Back of the Book of the Scott Catalogue with the prefix SC-.In the mid 1970's some local stamp clubs started to follow suit. These are 3 souvenir cards from stamp shows hosted by Massachusetts stamp clubs in 1975 and 1976:CHELPEX '75 was a show hosted by the Chelmsford Stamp Club in October 1975. The theme was a Bicentennial Salute to famous battlegrounds of freedom.SOPEX '75 was a stamp show put on by the Samuel Osgood Stamp Club in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The theme of the show was a salute to Japan's Philatelic Week and Stamp Collectors worldwide. The souvenir card prepared for the show features designs of several Japanese Philatelic Week stamps of the past. There are serial numbers on the back of the cards. SOPEX EAST '76 was a stamp show put on by the Samuel Osgood Stamp Club in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The theme of the show was a salute to 'The Post in Art'. The design shows Art reproduced on various stamps of the world.
