Donors to the AFDCS twice-yearly FDC Auctions receive special Thank You covers from the Auction Committee, depicting the committee members caricatured as various stamp-related characters.In 2007 they were all turned into butterflies, bees, bats and hummingbirds in concordance with the new Pollinators stamps.
This FDC for the 41¢ Bee single is a combo with the earlier 25¢ Honeybee stamp - featured here as a Plate Number Single, and the only cover in this run of covers franked this way!
