This stamp was issued on 16 May 2023 but withdrawn almost immediately following the protests, as they associated the figure of the Pontiff with the famous Portuguese conqueror Henry the Navigator known for the Colonizations, in fact such a monument is located in Lisbon and symbolizes the Portuguese conquests of Henry the Navigator........the print run of this stamp could be around 2000 copies.......it seems that Vatican City is making an exemplary mint with a mint design.....it is very reminiscent of the 1961 History of the Pink Gronchi Grigio
