By the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence (2021), Ukrainian artist Artur Orlyonov finished work on the painting "The Formation of a Nation", dedicated to the heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian war who died for the freedom of Ukraine. It is this picture that is displayed on the postage stamp.
The painting depicts 30 heroes. All of them were killed by Russia and the Russian occupiers. And it will never be forgotten or forgiven. This is how the latest history of an independent, sovereign Ukrainian state is being created.
