2021 Block of Ukraine stamp "400th anniversary of the Battle of Khotyn",
Оn September 2, 2021, Ukrposhta put into circulation the postal block "400th anniversary of the Battle of Khotyn" with the stamp "Yosef Brandt. The Battle of Khotyn (1867)".

Created together with the postal administrations of Poland and Lithuania, it is dedicated to the battle between the troops of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Ottoman Empire near the Khotyn Fortress, in which the Ukrainian Cossacks under Hetman Peter Konashevich-Sagaidachny played a decisive role.

Special repayments with special "First Day" postmarks take place in Kyiv and Khotyn.

The postage block depicts a fragment of a reproduction of the painting by the Polish artist Józef Brandt "The Battle of Khotyn". In the center of the painting are the great hetman of Lithuania Jan-Karol Khodkiewicz, the commanders of the Polish army and the Zaporizhzhya Army. On the envelope is a reproduction of an engraving by the Ukrainian painter and graphic artist Jan Greim "Khotyn Castle".

The artistic design of the block was done by Jarosław Ocendzan, who designs stamps for the Polish Post Office (Poczta Rolska).

The stamp was issued in the denomination of W ($1.50), which corresponds to the tariff for sending a non-priority simple letter by land transport up to 50 g to foreign countries.

The circulation of the block was 20,000 copies.
